  1. depends where u from, if u r from the uk, usa , canada or australia u have, but if u r from continental europe u shouldn't need it

  4. normally only the really top hotels will have anything such as plug converters to lend to guests, powers converters probably not.

  5. I would suggest you to buy something like this, multipurpose:

You will be able to use it in Italy and in many other European countries.

  6. Hello,

If you are taking hair dryers, curling irons and such you will need to supply your own converter.  I don't know of any hotels that supply them.  If you are just taking a camera with chargeable batteries, a laptop or other electronics, check the power pack on them.   They are usually duel voltage.  You won't need the converter for these just the plug adapter.  These you will also need to buy.  You can get the adapter plugs for around 10 dollars from walmart or target or online.  If you need both the adapters and the converter this will cost around 25-30 dollars and you can get them in the same places.

My best advice is to see what you are taking that is not duel  voltage, 110-220 volts, and then buy the converter if you need it.

  7. Italy's electric voltage is 220Volts and 50Hz. Some Hotels still have 110V- 220V. Plug and Sockets are round sometimes 3 pins but normally 2 pins.
