I am going to Jamiaca! What are some fun excursions we can go on?

I am going to Jamaica this Monday for 1 week. My fiancee and I have an all-inclusive resort booked at the Grand Lido Negril. What are some things we can do when we want to leave our resort and venture off. I heard about the Dunn's River Falls waterfall hike. Do you know of anything else? Thank you so much!

Negril has a 7 mile beach that is great to walk along!  Also go out to the "Cliffs"....you will find "RICK'S CAFE", where you can cliff dive, have cold beverages, lunch, dinner and watch a beautiful sunset!  Also, one of my favorite spots is "THE PICKLED PARROT" , it is also on the cliffs and is a great spot to hang out and have a drink!  There is a couple of Beach Bars that have live music at night....just ask the locals at the hotel.

There are "Booze Cruises", Sunset Dinner Cruises, Jetskiing, Parasailing, Water Trampolines (at Margaritaville),  Glass Bottom Boat Tours, and Snorkeling/Diving.  That's just the things to see and do in Negril....then there is Dunn's River Falls (about a 3 hour drive from Negril each way. here are also some really nice falls closer to Negril..."YS FALLS" is beautiful but different from Dunn's River.  There is also "APPLETON RUM FACTORY TOURS"  if you want to go that distance (Can't remember how far).

go shopping...and ride the horses through the water...and go snorkeling and scuba diving.

Check out Mayfield Falls.. It's only an hour away compared to Dunns which is 3 hours away. Mayfield is not as steep as Dunns but beautiful none the less..

Another option is YS Falls, it's not as interactive, meaning at some points you just walk up the side, but it can be combined with a few trips to make for a full day of fun. While there you can go tubing, or zip lining, check out the Appleton Rum Estate, the Black River alligator tour, and the Pelican Bar, which is a bar out on a sand bar.

You could do a tour of Roaring river which a mineral pools, Really pretty, very chill at times.

Like previously stated you could take a boat ride up to the cliffs and grab a drink at Ricks.. The Pickled Parrot has been gone for years now.. And Pirates cave bar was bought by the Rockhouse and is being renovated and changed now.. But the cliffs are absolutely beautiful and the perfect place to grab a drink, watch the sunset and dive from if you are daring and crazy enough.. 35 feet is too high for me thank you.. I'll watch the pro's and other crazy patrons risk themselves though. lol

You could grab a cab up to Cosmo's and walk the whole beach from there up to the river, stopping in at any places that catches your eye. many beach bars, small shops and restaurants along the way.

Grand Lido is very pretty. I'm sure you will enjoy your time there.

I went tubing on a river, it was czlled Rio de Blanca I think. Meaning white river or something like that, That was a lot of fun.

we did the canopy tours, as well as the horse back riding on the beach....We went to Sandals Dunn's River Falls, they use Chukka Tours to do the dune buggy's, horse back riding, canopy tours, as well as others within Chukka.  It's quite a ways from Negril if I remember correctly, but I thought it was worth it.  Ask your resort who they use for other excursions, we also went on the night shopping tour.  We got a pair of Movato watches at a dealer for the price of one, duty free and the guy at the store didn't fill out the warantee, that way when something goes wrong, you still have another year of coverage after it's fixed.
