I am going to Norway for 3 months in November on a student exchange. ?

I was hoping somebody may know some information on Norway that could make the experience more enjoyable. And yes i know its winter and bloody cold. I have already been accepted and have paid so this isnt just a pipe dream or whatever you might think.

Yes it does get really cold in the winter, however it's so great when it snows! It really depends where in Norway you are going to be. I used to live just outside Oslo. Skiing can be awesome in Norway if you are in to that...Also Christmas is lovely there with the snow, decorations, etc..People are quite friendly and always curious and interested in speaking to foreigners. Pretty much everyone speaks English and no tv programs are dubbed. Tap water is drinkable, the air is fresh, and Norwegian people are usually always up for a good party/ drinking session...
