I am going to Salzberg Austria for three months, any suggestions on what to do during winter?

Sample the best chocolate in the world!  Mozart (koogin).

Skiing.

Concerts.

Protests.

Salzberg has a fabulous professional dance company.  Attend class, see the shows, audition, just go!

Visit the Hills (Hills are alive-Sound of Music).

Escape to Lucerne and buy a cookoo clock or a Rolex for cheap, but high quality.

You can go skiing in the surrounding skiing areas. Skiwelt Amadee for example, the largest interconnected skiing area in Austria.

Salzberg should be beautiful during winter.  Enjoy seeing the snow in the mountains.  You may even want to go skiing.  Just enjoying the way the city looks is just wonderful.  Many of the buildings are painted with typical scenes of Austrian life on them.  Eat a hot, soft pretzel that are freshly baked.  Try the coffee shops,  There are marvelous baked goods available.  There are also shops that sell all the goodies for hand stiching, for example.  They are just beautiful.  Now I'm talking a long time ago.  But I would certainly like to see these things again.  Enjoy your trip.
