  1. You could drive up here, it's only a couple of hours away. But why come here when you can be at seaworld? :D

  2. Not sure what you are looking for in LA???  It is GROSS!

LA will be a long drive, and cost lots in gas.  Traffic is the main issue, you will need to plan around not driving during commuting times.

San Diego, what do you like to do?  Let me know I will give you tips...  beaches, restaurants, etc...

ODDS are you WON'T see any celebs in LA>>>  But, there is the garment district to shop in.

There are some great outlet malls in CA, which are fun!

    www.mallseekers.com

There are great places to eat at restaurant row in San Diego

Mexico is fun, if you haven't been there, I suggest Roserito Beach, and Purteo Nuevo Resturant for Lobster!  Roserito is much nicer than Tijiauna, about 40 minutes further south and not as yucky!

CHECK to see if you need a passport now to get into Mexico, they were changing it and I moved a year ago and haven't been there for about that long.

The Wild Animal Park is fun....

Balboa Beach and Mission Bay are fun...

I forgot about the PRICY shops in LA...  JUST make certain your pocket book is full.

RAISED there and know my way around.

  3. LA is about 2 hours away from SD (driving) so ya its possible. just plan to be gone for about 5-6 hours ATLEAST on top of any more time u think u would spend

  4. I'm from Ireland and visited this beautiful city in the mid nineties. A few tips , do-- go to the Zoo, go to the Horton Centre, go for a drink or meal  to the fabulous U.S.Grant hotel where I stayed , go for a sight-seeing tour on one of the trolleys(trams), go to mission bay & take a trip on the paddle steamer, go & see La jolla,Go & see the Coronado Hotel ,over a most impressive bridge, ahh, brings back happy memories.  Don't , go into Mexico. Just a few of the many things you can do in San Diego.

  5. Tijuana Mexico is closer and both cities are very similar in ethnic make-up.
