Later today, I will be leaving for Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan. Is there any way to visit Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario without a passport (eg. with driver's license, etc)? Because I am leaving today, I don't have enough time to get a passport. I need to know soon. Thanks!

  1. If you are a US citizen you will need a government issued photo ID such as your driver's license, and your birth certificate to prove citizenship.  Passports will be required by 2009 according to the latest information.

  2. You don't need a passport to cross the international bridge. Currently you only need a passport for flying. You will need a birth certificate and drivers license to cross.
