I am going to Scotland August 18-26 (Edinburgh, Inverness and Glasgow.) Any suggestions on what to do?

  1. I would recommend a trip to Loch Ness, its not that far away from Inverness and Fort Augustus is great little place to visit.

    As for Edinburgh you are going  at a great time as the main festival run during those dates so you should take in a few of the shows at the Fringe (some are paid by there are free ones).  

    You could also consider a trip accross the Forth to Fife, there are loads of lovley coastal towns to explore and of course there is St Andrews.

    Glasgow is one of the best places in the UK to shop, there are loads of shops to choose from and there are also lots of music events on, Glasgow is the main place in Scotland for concerts.
