I am going to Yankee Stadium and sitting in the Upper Deck. Are you allowed to go to the outfield during BP? What gate are you allowed to enter to watch batting practice?

Where is the area that you are allowed to stand during BP?

does it matter which gate you enter??

  1. Yeah absolutley..you cant get into the bleachers though because they have a separate entry into the stadium. But you can go all the way down to the wall by the foul pole at either the short porch in right or left field. The right field wall tends to get pretty packed during BP, but you can definitley get down to the wall.

  2. You can enter any gate at Yankees Stadium.  You may even be able to watch BP from the upper deck, that's where my seats are and it's fine.

There aren't a lot of places you're "allowed" to stand.  You can go out to Monument Park, they'll let you stand and watch for a minute or two before they tell you to move along.  It's a good view though, I suggest doing it.  You're right next to the people warming up in the outfield.

You can also walk along the lower level.  They will not allow you to go down to the lower section of the first level, but you can take a seat in one of the sections closer to home plate in the section right above the walk-way.  That's probably you're best bet.

    Enjoy!

  3. I usually try to stand in left field, lower level, by monument park.  Stadium opens two hours before scheduled time.  If you have time, get to Monument Park.  Have a great time.

  4. you can enter any gate with your ticket. An usher may allow you to go down to the lower rail for batting pratice if you are early enough. They will not allow you on the field. You will have to find your way to your seat prior to the start of the game.

  5. They usually let you wander pretty freely during bp.

    Have fun!

  6. No but you are allowed to get several autographs like i did during BP.

  7. I went to yankee stadium on july 8th and i was hoping I could get an autograph. We walked all along the lower part and there was guards preventing you from going down to get an autograph if you didn't have tickets down there but then we saw that one thing was open and I got an autograph from Edwar ramirez. If your trying to get to the outfield for an autograph you might find the gate that I went through I don't remember which one though. It was awesome getting an auotgraph so I think you might be able to get down there there isn't a big chance that you will get down there but good luck.
