  1. I'm Lao, Thai, & Viet. (:

    Pad Thai

    Lat Nha

Tham Bok Hung [Papaya Salad I think it's Lao food but they should have it] (:

    Angel Wings

That's all I can think of right now.

  2. I looove pad thai. I think its the mst popular thai dish. you can get it with chicken, shrimp, or tofu.  Basically its noodles with tasty light sauce.

also! try thai iced coffee, yummmm

  3. pad thai is the safest thing to get if you don't know what to order.

  4. Have the Pad Thai...

It is slightly different wherever you have it, but is always yummy!

  5. Tom Yum Goong (soup) if you like spicy

  6. Ask about nightly specials.

Order several different dishes and share (like chinese restaurant).

  7. The coconut is unlikely to be your problem. Thai food is extremely hot

ask your server for advise and tell her this is your first Thai meal.

    sid

  8. Thai Tom YUM..its really good..sweet, sour and spicy soup with great flavors.

Some people hate it..but i really like it...

your best bet is Pad Thai and a Thai Coffee..or Thai Tea

  9. Just stay away from the currys their curries contain coconut milk.

They have many dishes from Spring Rolls, to Stir fry dishes, to bbq meat dishes, chicken, beef, pork, to Seafood, crab, shrimp, fish. Just keep in mind they love their traditional foods spicy & since your going to a Thai resutrant they have it mild too. Also they love their fish sauce, ginger, lemon grass & basil so its in their basic ingredents in their dishes besides spicy thai chile pepper.

  10. Red curries are my favorite! But they are really spicy.

  11. fried tofu dipped in tamarind sauce that is garnished with crushed peanuts. it is an appetizer, but it is definitely a good one. there really isn't that much oil used either. now, i don't know the exact names of thai dishes, but you can try a fresh pad thai (heavenly) or this rice dish with broiled tofu and numerous veggies in this really flavorful curry sauce! yum! and also try a thai iced tea

  12. most of the thai currys have coconut in them, jungle curry does not have coconut so that would be safe. also bare in mind the satay has coconut in the dipping sauce or marinade.  check out most the stir fry dishes, they are generally not made with coconut milk

  13. mee-krob phat thai. I ate it on green basil a restaurant in burnaby
