I am going to apply for the YMCA?

They are asking for a background investigation on me. what do they all look for?

Um okay they never asked me that . Why don't you just go to bally total fitness. If you have a family its a good place to be . but if your a adult its better to go to Bally total fitness.

They will do a background check to see if you have any felonies, misdemeanors or other issues that will cause you to be of risk to children or others.  Depending on what area you'll be working in will depend on what checks they'll do on you.

Generally speaking its to see for child molestation and drug or violent crimes. they want to know they are not being conned by a predator or psycho. If you have misdemeanor drug charges just be honest with them and tell them that was in your past and you are willing to take a drug test. If you are a predator stay the h**l away from kids. but you sound like a nice person good luck
