  2. HI...do not attempt to make homemade sauce; just make it. I am sure it will be fine. To answer your question, yes, you can freeze it. You will have no flavor loss. Make sure the  containers  that you use will seal tightly. I cover my containers with a piece of plastic wrap before putting the lids on, and also leave a little space at the top for expansion. No glass for they will break, and make sure it is not hot  when putting it in the freezer.
