  1. kenny, if you are the butcher block you will be holding still, someone else be doing the butchering on top of you.

  2. okay homie why did you apply for a job that you dont know waht you're doing first of all. second of all if you're going to be a butcher block.. what do you think you're gonna do? fix computers?

    probbbbbbbably cutting MEAT, i'd say

  3. I don't know who to feel sorry for more. You for getting a job of which you know nothing or Albertson's for hiring you to do a job of which you know nothing. Disaster waiting to happen.

this just validates my practice of buying my food direct from the producer and not from a chain supermarket

  4. Dude I hope your not a vegetarian taking this job because that would be the biggest sign of hypocrisy i have ever seen............

  5. i worked at an albertsons for 9 years.  more than likely you will be working behind the counter. (where you get the shrimp, chicken breast, fish...ect... by the pound.)  we called the guys who actually cut the meat...meat cutters....they get paid a lot more.  lol hope this helps, and good luck with the new job.

  6. A butcher block is a block of wood or other material that is used for cutting, shearing, slicing, or chopping meat.  I can assume it'll be a painful job.

  7. I really don't know, but I think you should have found out what the job entails when you applied for the job.

  8. cutting nasty bloody diseased meat.

    ew

  9. if you're talking about working for the butchers at albertsons instead of being the block in some weird mime artsy way .. no, you won't be doing any meat cutting.  you'll be the carrying/cleaning/crapwork grunt.  if you're lucky though, they'll give you on the job training.  actual butchers to pretty well.
