  1. Let's just say that in my first week, I somehow lost balance of my tray.... The result? A fine older couple who had just gotten out of church ended up with water and milk all over their table and into their laps. However! The couple always returned after the incident, requesting to sit in my section and always left a decent tip.  So don't fret or cry over spilt milk ,.... these things happen.

You will be fine,... if at some point this does happen to you, sometimes you are fortunate enough to have forgiving customers as mine were.  I would not claim tray carrying is always easy, but it is not typically hard either.

  2. Nope, I'm a klutz and I never had a problem.  The trick is to carry the glasses with out a tray if you have less than five.  More than five, use a tray.  It balances out a tray better if its full and it's less likely to get topsy-turvy.

  3. Yes at first. You will have to learn to balance it. It takes practice. You can use a pizza pan at home and practice your balance by placing plastic glasses of water on the pan and try picking it up and walking with it. If you use te plastic ones or even styrofoam ones you won't break them. .

  4. There is a difference, between stem-glasses or solid ones.Practice first with low stem-glasses and than go to high champange flutes, be " very" careful with-them!!!

  5. your arms get tired if you do it for longer periods but it'll be fine if it isn't to long. also be a bit carefull try to use balance if you carry water!

  6. not too
