I am going to be editor-in-chief next year of our school paper. Anyone have any ideas for a successful year?

Congratulations! I dont know if you write articles now or if it will be too late by the time you start but I would like to read an article that talks about how this election and ALOT of other political and non-political things are being based strictly on s*x and race like "The first women president" "First 'African American' president" etc. and why are we not focusing on their POLITICS?! Seemed like we were doing so good with the race and s*x thing and then.... what happened it would be interesting to know where else this is taking place at and having an effect.  Just an idea. Hope I helped =) good luck!
