  1. Where are you shipping them from? I had mine flown FROM Boston to Florida. There are restrictions as to which months you can ship to and from Southern states.

It cost me $160 to have my dog flown. Call the airline and they will tell you everything you need to know. The cost depends on the size of the crate, the weight of the dog, where he is going, etc. We used Northwestern, but, I wasn't happy with them. They hadn't opened Eli's water bottle or food. He had pee and poo in his crate, so, I'm sure they didn't let him out of it. He was dropped off at Logan at 6:00 in the morning and picked up in Jacksonville, FL @ almost 7 that night. I was a pretty ticked that they hadn't at least given him any water.

  2. Call the airline and ask.

  3. Prices are based on crate size and actual weight, there is a limit on weight for each size also.  As long as under 6 months both pups can be shipped in one crate but make sure to get a size larger.  You need to buy a water and food dish also( doggie travel kit, they attach to the crate door), bring extra food in a ziplock baggie and freeze the water overnight so it doesn't spill on the way to the airport and during handling.  For a 200 crate and pup in the 10 lbs range it cost me about $120, prices have gone up though.

You will need to get a Health Certificate for the puppies prior to travel, it cannot be dated more than 7 days of travel date (some airlines 10 days)

Alaska and Delta Dash have weather restrictions on short nosed dogs only, their trucks are heated/air conditioned so you can ship year round.  Not every airline ships live animals.  If you know the crate size the airline can give you a pretty close estimate, make sure to ask if the price includes all fees and taxes.

  4. This is the site I know alot of breeders use:

    http://www.uship.com/dogs/

    Try them

  5. You will have to call the airline for exact price, but it's around $600.

  6. well i think its a 100 dollars a animal

  7. You need to call the airline directly!

  8. Your best bet is to call the individual shippers and find out their cost and what kind of pet carrier you will have to use as it has to be the kind approved by them for shipping. I really don't think there is a shipping method for a live animal out there that isn't costly.
