I am going to be starting an event (a swap-o-rama rama) in my area and I need ideas of where to do it. Kansas?

I live in Lenexa Kansas and I need advice on where to hold my swap-o-rama rama. Look up either swap o rama rama or wendy tremayne and you can see what its all about, or just give me any ideas you have on where to host anything. Also, I would love some advice on where I could get some funding.

I'd look for a rec room or multi purpose room at a public park.  They usually have reasonable rates for day use events.  For funding, I'd try the local arts council or cultural center.
