  1. I checked with hubby (Bosnian), you can bring your Wii and games and you can use it BUT as with all American appliances you will need a power adapter as The US uses 110volts @ 60Hertz, while most of the world (including Europe) uses 220volts @ 50 Hertz and unless you use this you can literally fry your wii!

The outlet plugs are different, too, but just getting a plug-converter won't help if your appliance can't handle the electricity. Using any appliance with inappropriate electricity will likely result in fireworks.

Most electronics will state what voltages/frequencies they can handle. Check the instruction booklet. If your Wii says that it can handle Europe's electricity standard, then go ahead and use it but check this carefully and if you are unsure, then don't use it without a Power Converter (roughly $30, I think).

So you need both a plug converter and a power converter.

You cannot use games you buy from Bosnia as you use NTSC and Bosnia (Europe) uses PAL so any games you buy won't work, so bring the games that you want with you.
