I am going to build a shed and would like a concrete foundation poured. The shed size is 12x17.?

on average , a slab that size wiil run about 6 dollars a sq. ft. or  1200.00 dollars...give or take depending on location and accessibility...

that's about two and half yards of concrete! probably about $4-$5 bucks  a yard. a few factors here  though,,  does it need to be hand mixed , trucked, will you need a pump, dirt removed etc,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Call Home Depot or Lowes and ask for an estimate they will tell you how much you need and can get you the right kind you need.  Don't forget to build additional structures on your land depending on the state it may require a permit. Not to mention you are probably gonna dig a bit to pour the foundation so you have to call the gas, electric, and cable companies etc to make sure you aren't going to hit them when you dig.
