  2. You can still buy the iPhone 3G, it is just that you will need to pay a deposit. A deposit can be any where from $150 to $500.  It all depends on your credit though. Talk to a sales rep. on AT&T. Someone will tell you how much your deposit will be.  

    If you don't want to pay a deposit, consider getting the original iPhone and using it on pick your plan (prepaid) AT&T.
