i was wondering if i should buy the refurbished system since it cost less a $50 difference.. what do you think should i buy the refurbished system since it cost less?on the website ( www.gamestop.com ) some people say they brought the refurbished system and it broke like in a day and they had 2 return it and that they got another one and it wouldn't insert games that's what some one said on the website for the 40 gb hddand someone said that the refurbished system is basically brand new buy had a problem and gamestop fixed it i am going to copy what these people said about the system:i just bought the system and i had to return it back after two hours of playing.....the game kept on freezing... so i return it back and got another refurbished and this time another problems this time i tried to insert the game init kept injecting so i return it is and this time i bought a new one ......and so far it has no problem.....so if your looking for a system buy a new one do not buy a used of refurbished.I bought a refurbished 40G from my local store last night. It was working fine till it crashed while playing the Folklore demo (cool game). Then the PS3 wouldn't boot anymore. It would turn on with a green light but black screen on the HDTV using HDMI. I tried the video reset trick and got it working after several tries. Then I left it on over night and it was crashed by the time I woke up. Now it won't boot at all.sorry for alot of letters but i really need opinions
