  1. Gladly! First: Don't pay over 120$. Unless its DDR marked and nice.

The M44 Carbine was first introduced in late  '43.  But production picked up pretty soon. It only stopped in '48. The M44, in one variant or another, saw service with China, North Korea, North Vietnam, East Germany, and for that matter all East Bloc countries. And Finland too.

Ups: Fun to shoot. Very historical. CHEAP ammo. CHEAP to buy.

Downs: Kicks like a pissed off mule (or is this an up?). Accuracy isn't always the best*.

    * All Mosins will hit high, this is natural. They are deliberately sighted that way. Russian troops were told to aim at the waist of an enemy. Then they'd get a chest or head shot. But many Mosins do shoot a little off. Especially an M44 with retracted bayonet.
