  1. Hola!  Honestly, it depends on where you are staying and what you plan to do.  Where are you staying?

There is plenty of transport available.  You can take shuttles from your hotel, or take a taxi, or get the bus.  Most of the buses run between the towns of Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo and you can also get buses within the town called "urbanos".  They say where they are going on the front i.e. Costco, or Sorianas etc.

Most people rent a car when they are planning to drive to Todos Santos or La Paz or something.  If you plan to stay within town, then I would say use the local transport.

The same goes from getting from the airport to CSL.  Its about a 20 minutes drive, so the taxis charge about $50 and the shuttles are $10-15.

Have a great vacation here in Cabo!

  2. no cabs and city buses are cheaper. plus im pretty sure you'll do more walking them sitting. i know i did

  3. um only if u want to go to town and pay for a taxi, maybe u dont need a rental the whole time but u should def. get one

  4. It´s true, depends where you will be staying at. If you stay in the corridor or at the Pueblo Bonito on the Pacific or renting a house, then you need to rent a car, it will save you lots of money.

  5. I will say if you want to explore yes, taxis charge a lot of money

  6. When i went there, i didnt rent a car. But also, we stayed rite on the beach. Its not like the town is not accesible on foot though, so you could go either way. If you are planning on staying on the beach...i say no. If you are planning on staying in the town....maybe you would want to.
