  1. Actually, what i found was that if you wrap him in a fluffy towel so that its like a tube (not tight though) and place him between your thighs (just resting on top with a slight gap for him to sink a little) that he should stay perfectly warm from your body heat.

    Your groin is really warm.

Just make sure there is no drafts, don't open the window or have the air con on.

You can try a hot water bottle or get some air activated warmers OR they have these things in a large petshop for cats that you put in the microwave for 1 min and it stays warm for like 8 hours. WITH ALL OF THESE YOU WILL NEED TO MONITOR THE TEMP because you don't want him to over-heat.

  2. You can put hot water in an empty milk bottle and wrap it in a towel.  Put it in with him in a small rubbermaid storage container with holes for air.  You can replace the hot water as needed to keep the temps up.

  3. If it is for a short journey (I've done it for 3hours) he should be ok with just transporter container. (mine was in a car). I transported my geckos from London to scotland by car in a tub with a special heating pad. it is for humans. it looks like it contains gel in and you click a little disk in the corner which heats it up instantly for ages without a microwave or anything. it is wrapped in a bunch of kitchen towel and placed at one end of the little tubs which are inside a big freezer box. It actually worked well and they were relatively warm all the way there. I have a Exo-terra thermometer with a probe inside the box that records the min and max temperatures reached on th journey so I can monitor them. It sounds a bit posh/over the top but my geckos are worth it :P

  4. put him by the heater, good luck id leave him though. maybe a blanket. or a power converter to put a heat lamp on.
