I am going to get a stun gun, Im in AZ. Is the highest voltage ones illigal?

I see some online for 950,000 voltage's and some up to 2 million volts (I think). I am just wondering if they are illegal in AZ cause a nearby gun store only had 500,000 volts.

I walk/run at night and want it for my protection. I need something that will bring someone to their knee's.

If you dont know the laws here, how can I find out?
