  1. sore throat and lots of ice cream!! yummy

  2. haha, expect a lot of frozen dairy treats (:

  3. i got my tonsils taken out three years ago. as much as everybody says it is so great and you get to eat ice cream and stuff, don't expect that. even though that is basically all you can eat you feel like you have a very bad sore throat and don't want to eat. you are basically forced to keep drinking fluids and eat cold and soft foods. it is painful for the first couple of weeks but in the end it makes you a lot better.

i used to get sick about every other week or so but after i got my tonsils out i get sick about once every 3 or 4 months

  4. To be waited on hand and foot.  Lots of drinking cold fluids, frozen popcicles and ice cream too!

You will be able to speak but you may want to keep your speaking voice for when you really need it.

You will also have some soreness but if you keep your tongue and throat numb with cold fluids and popcicles, it will heal much faster.

  5. With today's laser technology, all you have is a really bad sore throat. When they did my daughters, she got it done it the morning and got sent home in the afternoon with pain killers. Not much to it.  Just keep lots of soft foods such as pudding and jello and popsicles of just about any kind unless they are like the butterfinger kind which has hard pieces on it.
