I am going to go to hostel soon , I have never been in one . What is like living in a hostel ? Experience ?

My room is for 2 people , it's within the college campus . . . it's just for one year . . . it'll be good right ? . . . I know i'll miss my loved ones . . . I just really would like to know some positives . . .

i understand that u are full of excitment mixed with a lil fear.but b sure that u will miss yr loved ones for few days or maximum one month.later when u wil mix up with yr roommate and other students who are reciding with you, u wil realize that they also have left their home. than u wil be alright and away from that homesickness.just indulge yrself in studies and also enjoy life with frnds and believe me u wil have tears in yr eyes while leaving the hostel.Its my experience.

i used to be for 2 days in hostel

i really felt very bad and i came back to my house on the third day itself.

i went to boarding school nd well i dint reaalie get along well but i guess that was bcz i came from a differnt background (i was from a differnet country) to them and was younger to my room mates and class mates nd all it became okay towards the end since i kinda got usedd to the enviorent and ppl so yh.

i would just say that try to mix in and i bet there are gna be many other people like you like living in a hostel for the first time.

ur ovb gna miss family but then ull get used to it. wen i woz in boardnig i woz 9 turning 10 so its gna be mush easier for you.

the exp is different though its has its positives and a few neagtives.

Living in hostel is a good experience but certainly you will miss your home for few days and then dont worry you will get along with it.i was living in hostel right when i was in class 5th.First few days will be a little awkward since you are used to your home life but afterwards when you will get along with the routine of your hostel it will be fun.Moreover be friendly with your hostel mates that will make things easier and try to accept things,then you will get along with it easier.Always remember every experience you gain in ur life makes you more mature and fit for the life.And more over you will get to know a lot of good things.I am sure you will have fun.Good day. :-)
