I am going to golden sands In Bulgaria and need some info!?

Question

Myself and my wife are going to golden sands, Bulgaria on the 30th Aug and would like to know a bit about what to expect?

what amount of money should we take for 2 weeks?

are there any excursions/trips we should definitely do and their approx costings also equally any we should definitely avoid?

Also what we should expect to pay for things like cig's beer meals that sort of thing and any recommendations on bars/restaurants to visit?

also anything else you might want to warn me of or recommend!

It has been several years since i have been there but I wouldn't go back as they didn't have the entertainment like spain does, the entertainment was listening to orchestral music while eating you evening meal, there is was no shops to wander round but the boat takes you into Varna for shopping which looks a bit like an Austrian Village, Bulgaria's food in boring everything was Veal, prices were very cheap, there is lots of prostitutes in the area. Weather wise it is the same as the uk except during the summer they get hot sunshine. I tried to buy milk for coffee but they didn't sell it, I had to buy baby formula from a health centre. I also went to sunny beach and it was smaller but the same as Golden Sand. When you arrive at airport they gave you luncheon vouchers for your meals so you can eat anywhere.
