  1. Well I would say your best bet would be to, either advertise in a newspaper, or even flyer's around town would work great is a lot less costly. Also a great way to let people know is facebook I know some people hate it but it is the most effective way to contact as many people possible. Myspace is also a great place to not only contact people but get your band herd and out there:) Good luck!

  2. if you have a myspace you could do it that way.

or email, or through txting.  posters around where you live could help too.

  3. I would say that you should post things around your area.  Make sure that where the auditions are, and what time is clearly stated.  People like to come to those types of things just to watch even, sometimes.

Make sure you say what instruments they need to bring, and what is provided.

    Here's and example:

    MUSICAL AUDITIONS

Wanted: Girls with skills at *Bass Guitar* (bring your own) and Vocal stylings

    Were: Tiffany's House

    12098 Birk St

    Woodsburg Florida

Time: fro 10 AM to 7 PM

You can, of course, do anything you want to do with this, or you could tell people you know that play the certain instrument that you are asking for.

    So, I hope this helps!

Bonne chance, break a leg, thanks, bye

  4. just make like 5-10 simple signs and put them up around ur neighborhood with all the info

  5. poster or talk to someone if u think they might be interested.

  6. No real offense, but Certainly you can post ads both local and online, but TELL people to audition??? I think "Invite" people to audition might be more appropriate.

Not knowing at all who you have in mind for the size, or instrumentation, that info should be included, as well as a notation about where you are, relative to where they may be.

Have you attempted any local contacts, and what exactly do you mean by WE are going to need auditions. Obviously I'm aware of WHAT an audition is, and the purpose.

What might be more important than selection in talent, is some rehearsals, judging how you all FIT together in some cohesive, viable group. Personalities can often clash, no matter the talent levels of anyone.

Added thought: Are you also considering AUDITIONS in the sense of getting gigs? If so, you really need a well knit group, well rehearsed.
