  1. plenty of warm clothing

  2. A mix of clothes, at the moment the evenings can be cool but the days warm up

  3. I was in tassie a month ago (Hobart though), and we had both hot and cold weather.  But apparently there is now snow on Mt Wellington.

You should take a bit of everything. Also, if you haven't been there before, the sun is so harsh! You really need a hat and sunscreen, even if it is cold.

    Have fun!

  4. Warm clothes. Even though it's the tail end of summer in Australia right now it gets pretty cool in Tasmania at night.

Otherwise just take a camera and a spirit of adventure and have a good time.

  5. lived there for twelve months,, be sure and take warm clothes and like the lady said sunscreen down there the sun shines straight into the car all day and there is extreme uv even in winter, be sure and see mt barrow its about twenty minutes out of lonny (coloqueal name 4 city) spectacular drive through river of rock to the mountain top, and dont forget to visit the common. If you can arrange it try to get out to the drag strip in the afternoon its well signposted drive past it and park where you get a clear view of the escarpment , you will see the most spectacular long lasting sunsets ever, if you are young you better like pubs because there is nothing else in tassie
