  1. Right - Accelerate

    Left - Break

    Far Left - Clutch.

Remember those , you'll be fine.

  2. Always drive like the people around you are crazy or drunk. Be cautious and aware of everything, but not paranoid. Pay attention to your driving, don't let things distract you. If you go the speed limit or use cruise control, you never have to worry about getting a ticket!! Peace of mind!!  If you have a dad or boyfriend, have them show you under the hood, how to put in water, and oil.... and explain where things are.

  3. get insured on a family members/friends car and then you can drive with a qualified driver sitting next to you- they have to be over 21 and have held a licence for 3 years - then get as much time on the road as you can.

take proper lessons along side this of course

  4. Use your turn signals, be aware of your surroundings, always look twice before pulling out into traffic, NEVER chat on your cell phone, keep with the flow of traffic but also be aware of the speed limit, when you're on the freeway, the left lane is for passing only, not cruising.

  5. First get a good driving instructor

watch family members as they drive

    read the highway code

and if you don;t understand something always ask instructor

  6. Don'y bother, there are to many cars on the road already, think about whether you really need a car before you make that commitment.

  8. when u stop in traffic do not be bullied by the driver behind u. keep ur distance from the car in front. always make sure u can see the bottom of their tyres over the top of ur bonnet. this gives u breathing space, if the guy/gal stalls u have room to manoeuvre around them and if the impatient driver behind u hits u at least u wont hit the driver in front. always use ur handbrake.. enjoy ..

  9. get a good driving instructor

  10. Hi dont let any member of your family try to teach you cause they explode when they recon you have done something wrong,Get somebody who will teach you without blowing a fuse...Best Regards Steve

  11. After at least ten lessons with an instructor, have a relative insure you as a 'named-driver' and take you out, daily, for at least three months, preferably a lot longer.  Drive at all hours of the day, in the mornings, evenings and into the night.  Work towards a few long drives, of at least three hours.  Be in no hurry to take a test at all.  I had some 18 months of this, covered over 27,000 miles as a learner, passed my test and have had no accidents in 25 years.

It isn't about quickly getting your licence.  It is about learning a life-skill, to a very high level - I have got out of several dangerous situations in these last 25 years, thanks to my training and experience.

  12. Just make sure that you go with someone who is reputable, ask your friends who have passed who they went with, or even family members but as long as you go with someone who is good at their job then you will be fine, just remember not to stress or get worried, try and relax and keep calm, goodluck hope you pass.

  13. Try not to crash into anything.

  14. 99.99 percent of the time your eyes should be straight ahead.  Do NOT read while you are driving.  That may sound funny but a lot of people read letters or looking for a cd or looking for a certain address while the car is moving forward and they aren't looking forward!!  Leave plenty of space between you and the car in front of you so in case he slams on the breaks, you have enough time to avoid him or to stop the car.  Drivers on the highway slam on the breaks when they see a cop car, be careful.  Don't ever get mad or frustrated when driving.  Delays are a big part of the driving experience.  Let the big trucks do whatever they want, they are the kings of the road so just get out of the way.  If someone wants to pass you, pull into the other lane and let them go.  If someone is driving nutty, pull into the other lane and slow down so they can be far far away from you.  Remember the most important thing when you drive is to arrive safely at your destination.  What I do when I get into my car is I say:  Today I'm going to be so careful I'm not going to get into an accident.  25 years of driving and still no accident so I guess it's working!!
