I come from a TV background (casting commercials and celebrity booking) and would love to do something similar over there but worried that the language barrier will be a problem to begin with

  1. Will be a big problem. Argentinians do not generally speak any English, they tend to speak more Italian than anything else.  You should have taken your time to learn Spanish. You will be unable to do a professional job if you can't speak the language. I wish you luck, but I am sure bilinguals will have better opportunities than you.

  2. Go to an agency and they will give you a job or teach english,

many people are interested in learning

  3. if you dont understand anything it will be dificult. you can teach english, you can get yourself a certificate or something (i know that exist) to teach your own language in a foreign country.

it s not true that argentinians dont speak english. there is a lot of bilingual schools. but to get a job here you must speak spanish. know nothing about your job area, but i think that is all talking, isnt it?

    good luck and welcome!!!
