    Free Tram and Free Shuttle Bus around City.

    Federation Square ACMI and Ian Potter Centre(Australian Art)

    NGV - International Art

    State Library

    Queen Victoria Market closed Mondays and Wednesdays and open until 2pm on other days - Large Tourist Market

    Royal Exhibition Building

    Lygon St - go at night for a Pizza and Italian Atmosphere

    The Old Melbourne Gaol - Ned Kelly Expereince

    Dracula's for a blood curdling night

    Docklands - Melbourne's newest part of town

    Southbank - cafes,food halls,shops and the Crown Casino. Watch the Gas Flames shoot up into the air on the hour every night- magnificent

    Botanical Gardens

    Tour MCG, Rod Laver Arena or the Telstra Dome

    Immigration Museum

    Melbourne Aquarium

    Eureka Skydeck and do The Edge if you dare

    Chinatown

    Visit 333 Collins St and then cross over to the ANZ Gothic Bank - go inside.

    Have a hot chocolate at Koko Blacks in the Royal Arcade or afternoon tea at Hopetoun Tearooms in the Block Arcade

    Walk down the Lanes and Arcades. Desgrave St, Centre Place, The Block Arcade and Royal Arcade - lots of cafes,shops etc  

    St Kilda Beach take the No 16 Tram from Swanston St

    Then of course there is the shopping

    Myer, David Jones in Bourke St Mall

    Melbourne Central - 4 floors

    GPO- 4 floors of designer shops

    Hosier Lane - Designer Shops

    Australia on Collins

    Sofitel

    Southern Cross Station - about 80 DFO shops

    Take the 48/75 tram to Bridge Road for Factory outlets.

    Collingwood also has Factory outlets.

    Chadstone - free shuttle bus Wed- Sun 9.30am

    The above three are all within 30 minutes of the city

    Go to the cinema, Crown Dendy or try the Como in South Yarra for a different type of experience.

    Do a chocolate Tour

    At night you can do a Bar Tour for 35 Dollars or just visit them yourself. Lots of quirky hidden bars in the city - gin Palace, Double Happiness, Madame Brussels, Lily Blacks are just a few.

    crown casino.

    Melbourne zoo.

    go for a tram ride around the city.

    we have some very nice gardens in the city.

    but what ever your taste is im sure you will find it easy to get around. by an all day met ticket much better than driving around..

    welcome to Melbourne and enjoy but make sure you have some warm clothes because its now starting to get cold...

    go to the aquarium though. it's nice.

  5. yeah you might wanna jump onto chapel street and have a look around as and the shops there and the clubs are quite good and theres a great brazilian bar and restraunt called cococabana great show and dinner at the start and turns into club after 12.

    Also could go down to great ocean road and check out the 12 apostles.

  6. My answer is the same as ANA but there is another place.

    Sunday go to ST Kilda. Ackland street cake shops and there is a market on Sundays. Also plenty of restaurants.

    If you go into the City - Bourke street mall there are tourist information booths you can get free maps of Melbourne and it has many free books and brochures.
