I am going to Mexico for a one week holiday at a resort. What types of clothes will I need (female). Is there anything else I should know?

Bring your favorite summer clothes..and as you are at a resort bring a dinner dress as they usually have a dress code for their nice  alacarte resturants....dont forget sandels and a good pair of walking shoes....have fun

definately swiming clothing. Its winter to check the weather but if it doesnt rain, cancun is really sunny. Cancun also has clubs so if your into that, clubing clothing. Same as in the US since many of them are vastly tourist filled.

Bring your summer clothes. Cancun is very casual so don't bring fancy dress up clothes. Shorts, tops, capris, jean skirt, maybe one or 2 sundresses if you wear those. Nice pair of sandals, flip flops (at least 2) 2/3 bathing suits, cover ups. Light sweater just in case and jeans.

Lots of sunscreen, music, ipod, books. I always bring Imodium just in case I eat something that doesn't agree with me.

Bring dollar bills for tips, small purchases and bus fare. We always bring at least 100 dollar bills and most of the time, we use them all.Bus fare is 65 cents and most times they don't have change for bigger bills. Even if you stay at an all-inclusive, it's best if you tip a couple of $ for better service at the bar or restaurants.
