  1. Make him a nice card.  OR something he can keep for a while not just some crappy toy that he'll get over in a day.   Make his b'day cake or sumthing.


  2. You could make a homemade birthday card for him.  If you want to do something special, you could tuck in a homemade "coupon"---good for a trip to Burger King, an upcoming movie that he would like to see, or a Dairy Queen treat, etc.
