i suggest you do.

it depends on the day you go.

if its paked to the limit

a gold pass is go.

if its got some people.

normal pass is good.

but if its empty don't bother

Yes.  My advise, don't bother with the flash pass.  Its quite expensive, and it runs out.  Not really worth it in my book.  Besides, some days it would just be a waste to get it.  

Unless you mean a season pass.  Either way, the permit will suffice.  They just want a picture ID, because both will have ur picture on the pass.  (To prevent you from sharing it with other ppl and lettng them get the same thing you do, and not pay)
