I am going to st.andrews, scotland during summer. how is that place, regarding the people, scenery,etc?

It is a very welcoming place which loves its golf and is full of history.  The best way to describe it is that its like a mini Edinburgh, due to the historic buildings and architecture.

Also during the summer you should get some good weather to fully enjoy the town, there is a great beach there.

St Andrews is known to have some excellent fine dining restaurants and some excellent high class accommodation, so if you are staying there i suggest checking out the Vine Leaf for fine dining or The Grill House for excellent value dining.
