  1. dude i've been playing beach volleyball since i was ten. prepare for muscle-y legs. i ran around in the sand for about 30 mins a day.

  2. Running, elipticals, squats, lunges, side steps to keep you quick on your feet. Also go jogging along the beach shore... this will strengthen you for playing in the sand, it is harder then on an inside court. Pretty much basic things that keep you up to par with everything. You should allready know this since you have played so long. HAVE FUN!!

  3. Beach volleyball is the best but it is very hard because your feet sink into the sand i would practice playing volleyball with your friends but with those sand weights around your ankles they sell them at like valley sporting goods and everything this way if you have these on your feet you will get used to how hard it is to play in sand also do alot of running because if you condition you'll play better and for longer but those new sand bags on your ankles should be worn when you condition it will make you used to the sand ::)) good luck

  4. I learned how to play volleyball by playing beach around 20 years ago when i was 14.  The best thing to do is to get out to the beach as much as possible.  While eliptical, tredmill, lunges....etc will help nothing is better than actually running and playing on the beach.  You use diffent muscles in the sand due to the sinking and sliding when you push off.

Also work on your sharp cut roll shots and deep corner rolls.  Beach is about placement of the ball not just power.  Hitting a good hard ball is great and makes your roll shots that much more effective.

Good luck, beach 2's is a great game and gets you in awesome shape.

  5. Conditioning is key. Running, biking, or ellipse training will help with a regular lifting schedule.  You want to keep the cardio to a MAX of 30 min though or rotate walking and sprinting to maintain your explosiveness. Anything you do to simulate game playing situations is the best. Also playing as much as you can will round off the workout.

  6. do tons of conditioning.

    work on your core.\

and i bet you will look really good in that bikini

  7. do lunges! 100 each night, and you will start to see results that whip you into a really great form! trust me i played competitave high school volleyball and they made us do lunges down and back across the court!

    hope that helps!!!!

  8. Running, wind sprints, sit ups, push ups. supermans, squat thrusts, lunges, and eating healthy. I'm a volleyball play too just not as experienced as you!

  9. Stay very s**y cool. Keep your conditioning up.
