  1. you need 6 months left, after your departure back to the UK

  2. If you are a US citizen, then it makes no difference.  You can enter the USA right up until the day of the passport's expiration and will encounter no difficulties.

If you are NOT a US citizen, then you must ensure that you have a minimum of 6 months of life left on your passport beyond your completion of travel.  Since you're going in September, you should have no problems, as long as you exit the USA  no later than 6 months prior to the expiration date of your passport.

  3. depends how long your staying there for.

there are new rules about travelling to the usa. ring the travel company if you're worried.

  4. oh ya.  If you're going overseas then it has to be valid for 3 months from the end of your trip.  That's more than 6

If you're going from canada it only has to be valid (could expire in 10 days, as long as it's still valid) and if you are driving across the border you don't even need it.  Just photo ID (government issued) and birth certificate.

    Have fun

  5. Yes.  You may need 6 months on your passport, but no more than that.

I don't know where you are coming from.  Some countries will require visas, and if you come from one of them, you should arrange for a visa.  If your country is part of the Visa Waiver program (i.e. Canada, Mexico, most European countries, and others), then you will only need a passport.

  6. you need to have 6 months left on your passport after you come back.  these days the passport office will add any unused time to your new passport so you could get a new one now that expires in June 2019.  You should be ok with the one you have if you are travelling back before December

  7. For a standard 90 day tourist stay admittance it's fine.  one thing you may need to check, if your passport is quite old, is whether it is machine readable - if it isn't you're gonna need a visa....
