  1. - ALWAYS pay attention you'll never know when you might be called on to answer a question

    - NEVER talk when the coach is talking to the whole team.listening is very important

    - BE dedicated on what you do,even if you don't like the drill your coach assigned you do your hardest.

    - BE observant, especially if you're sitting down watching other people play, you might have to play their position if they want a break or your coach to ask for someone new

    - VOLUNTEER if your coach asks for someone to step up to do a drill or an example, even if you're not to sure how to do it step up because that's what coaches look for in a player.

    - ALWAYS have a good attitude and try you best.

    - AND have fun on what you do,sports aren't always serious.they're meant to have fun and to enjoy the sport

i hope some of those tips will help you.

    and good luck!

  2. confidence always helps have a good attitude to if you seem to rub it in to peoples face that you are gonna make it they might not think you will be a good sport

  3. I got lots of tips for you, been through 6 try-outs and made them all....so I know what I am talking about :)

    1) Wear shorts, t-shirt, knee-pads, good shoes, good socks and your hair up!

    2) Bring lots of water. The coach is going to run you, so be ready.

    DONTS

*Talk when the coach is talking

    *Complain or say "I Can't"

    *Give up!!!

*Be scared to try something a different way

    *Get a bad attitude.

    DO

    *Volunteer to help with things

    *Do your best job

*Be the first one there (shows the coach your excited to be there and want to play)

*Pay attention to what the older kids do, learn from them

*Shag balls, even if no one else is

*ASK QUESTIONS...if you dont get it, ask. The coach is there to help you!!!

    *Be open minded!!!

But just have fun and try your hardest, I am sure you will do fine. Hope this helps and good luck with your try-outs!
