  1. You write one of your own.

  2. Make one up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. Poetry.com

  4. http://www.things-to-say.com/rhyming-poe...

very sweet poem.Hope you like it.

  5. What about a verse from the bible?  The Psalms and Proverbs have a lot of nice passages, and though they don't rhyme, they are essentially poetry.  For example, I love Psalm 23 ("The Lord is my shepherd, there is nothing I shall want...").

Or how about modifying Psalm 136:1-9 by taking out all of the repeated parts that say "God's love endures forever":  "Praise the Lord, who is so good; Praise the God of gods; Praise the Lord of lords; Who alone has done great wonders; Who skillfully made the heavens; Who spread the earth upon the waters; Who made the great lights; The sun to rule the day; The moon and stars to rule the night".

Or Psalm 27 (Trust in God, which starts "The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom do I fear?") or Psalm 121 (The Lord my Guardian) or Psalm 128 (The Happy Home of the Just, which includes the lines "May the Lord bless you from Zion, all the days of your life That you may share Jerusalem's joy and live to see your children's children.")  From Proverbs, perhaps an excerpt from Chapter 3.

From the New Testament, how about 1 Corinthians 13:4-13, which starts "Love is patient, love is kind." and ends with "So faith, hope, love remain, these three; but the greatest of these is love."  Not exactly a poem, but a nice sentiment.

Good luck with your choice, and best wishes for your new godmother adventure!
