I want to have mini-foods at my party. Where can I find recipes? I want candy there too. Any suggestions on what kind of candy I could get to maybe match the theme?

  1. Taco Boats.

Buy a package of Wonton Wraps. They come 60 to a pack and two pounds of ground beef or sausage make 48 top fifty of them.

Pre-bake the wraps in a muffin tin to create a small bowl. Transfer them to a large cookie sheet as you pre-bake them.

Brown your meat and a large chopped sweat onion and drain. Add two packages of Ranch Dressing Mix (dry) to it and blend well.

Spoon this mixture into your pre-baked cups and top with your favorite grated cheese. Put back in the oven to melt the cheese.

Toppings can range from shredded lettuce, salsa, sour cream and chopped tomatoes or green onions.

They will disappear fast so you could even have some extra salsa and chips on the side and maybe even some Mexican rice.

you can take puff pastry and wrap around little smokies, and make sliders by cutting frozen hamburger patties into 4 pieces and using the mini dinner rolls.

I'll paste a receipe below that's super easy!

    CRESCENT VEGGIE APPETIZERS

    Ingredients

•2 8-oz cans of Pillsbury refrigerated crescent rolls

•1 8-oz package cream cheese, softened

    •½ cup sour cream

    •1/8 teaspoon garlic powder

•3 cups chopped assorted fresh veggies (bell pepper, broccoli, carrot, cucumber, green onions)

    Directions

1.Removed dough from cans in rolled sections; (2 sections from each can) do NOT unroll. Cut each section into 8 slices (16 slices from each can).

2.Place slices cut side down on ungreased baking sheet to form trees. To form trees, start by placing 1 slice on top with 2 slices below it, sides touching. Continue arranging a row of 3 slices, then a row of 4 slices, ending with a row of 5 slices. Use remaining slice for the trunk. Refrigerate 1 tray.

3.Bake one tree at 375* for 11 to 13 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 1 minute; carefully loosen with spatula and slide onto wire rack to cool. Bake and cool second tree.

4.Place each tree on a platter. In small bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, and garlic powder; blend until smooth. Place in a zip lock bag and snip a medium size hole in the bottom. Spiral onto each roll. Decorate the trees with assorted veggie pieces.

5.Cover and refrigerate until serving time. To serve, just pull apart the slices of the tree.

*You may make any pattern with the slices you desire.

    MINI CHEESE ROLLS

1 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated

    2 sticks butter

    2 cups flour

    1/2 teaspoon garlic salt

    paprika

    Preheat oven to 400°F.

Cream together butter and cheese until fluffy. Stir in flour and garlic salt, mixing only until well combined.

Form mixture into 1 inch diameter logs. Wrap in wax paper and chill for 1 hour.

Slice into 1/2 inch long pieces (so that they resemble Tootsie Rolls).

Sprinkle paprika lightly on a dish. Roll each piece in paprika and place on an ungreased baking sheet.

Bake for about 10 minutes until lightly golden. Remove to wire racks to cool.

Variations: Use blue cheese crumbles instead of Cheddar. For onion cheese logs, add 1 package onion soup mix and omit garlic salt.

Mixture can be frozen before baking until ready to use (up to 3 months
