Question:

I am having a bad day and I can't seem to feel better.

I have so much on my mind and I can't seem to make myself feel better. Any advice?

  1. I know it sounds crazy, but try something like moving your furniture around even if you have to do it several times.  The thoughts that you use to redecorate could keep your mind off your problems and the physical activity will make you feel calmer and more able to sleep. (as opposed to aerobic excercise).  Dwelling on problems could make you feel worse, so try to give that a rest.  

    Both my parents have passed and my cat is 16 so I have an idea how you feel.  But to be honest, the less I dote on him, the healthier he seems to be.  

    There are cancers that can be controlled these days, but remember whatever happens, you'll be okay.  You really will.

    It's hard, but keeping a positive attitude works wonders and although it's tough to do at times, try something like watchin old mindless sitcoms.  Anything to give your mind a rest.  That, and a good night's sleep will make you feel better.

    Do some things you enjoy

    Take a nice long bath and eat lots of chocolate

    Phone a close friend and have a good gossip

    Watch some funny Youtube vids

    Get a good nights sleep and hopefully you'll feel better in the morning

  5. We all have our bad days. Sometimes you just try to relax, but you just can't stop all these thoughts that race through your head. We all have our ways of dealing with stress. Maybe you need to give yourself some "you time." Go for a long walk by yourself or lay down and read a book that you like. Maybe your way of dealing with stress is the opposite of that... maybe you need to go out with some friends and hit the bars (not to advocate alcohol as a coping mechanism for stress).

    For now, just take a deep breath and remember that we all have those days and that you are going to be just fine. Now if you get this feeling a lot... or if it lasts for a long amount of time, then you may have a mood or anxiety disorder which there is medication for... otherwise, just relax. Everything will work out...

  8. write all your emotions on a paper.. write whatever comes to ur mind.. keep writing don't read.. Sometimes it helps me. or listen to your fav. music or go out get some fresh air.. or go to the grocery store & buy sumthing for urself..

    But writing down your emotions on a paper helps alot.. If u dont want anyone to read it.. throw it in the garbage in the morning.. But u will feel much better... I can understand when lots of things happening in ur head nothing u wanna do.. nothing interests you.. even crying makes u more miserable.. so do the above things.. it will help u i promise..

    i am soo sorry abt your parents.. thats very sad to know that both of them  have cancer.. my God bless them with long & health life.. Amen..

    well wat u r dealling with is called stress of a real life.. & remember this is never gonna leave u ever.. so stop thinking & just go with the flow.. if u started to worry on every tisy bitsy things life will be terrible place to live.. So be relaxed.. I know moving itself is a big fat stress. & on top the worries of parents... Y u moving we dont know.. but always always remember this everything happens for a better reasons.. the two things i have in life 1. go with the flow & not to worry unless & until u really had to.. & always have positive attitude towards everything.. 2. everything in life happens for reason.. your life will be fine.. So for on just do ur packing tc of parents & go with flow.. when u go there then think of fridge or stove.. In the mean time think  everything will workout.. & it will trust me.. it will..
