Look at a wal-mart that carries material.  For $1.00 a yard you should be able to find material that will "fit" your decor and work as a cover-up.  Have fun!

You can use cotton bed sheets, or large curtains, or inexpensive slip covers. You can place table clothes with the same color on your wooden furniture to make it look it's part of the theme, and no one will know your trying to defend against the wax!
