Question:

I am having a couple symptoms I haven't heard of before. Could this be early pregnancy?

I have not been able to find these online but this is what I am experiencing:

- Everything tastes weird (including water)

- My breath stinks and my mouth is dry no matter how much water i drink

- My nipples look lighter and are hard all the time

- My throat is phlemy but I have no other sign of getting a cold

- I had a weird cramp in crease of my leg all day on Sunday

I also have acid reflux, and some cramping.

I am 8dpo and think it is probably still too early to test. Would it be too early for symptoms even? I have not had any spotting. Any advice on when I should test and if these are signs?

  1. I think to relief your stress just take either the morning after pill if you can still. And then maybe take a test to make sure. Hope all get better.

  2. I have heard of many women experiencing symptoms very early on. I think your list of symptoms sounds very promising!

A surge in hormones can change your sense of taste and smell, cold/flu symptoms can be a sign as well (again, due to hormone increases), acid reflux and heartburn are a classic sign (hormones can slow down your digestive processes which leads to things 'backing up')  And of course cramping is a symptom as well as there are a lot of changes in the uterus in very early pregnancy.

8 dpo is still early for a test, I would wait until about 12 dpo. Good luck! I hope you get your BFP!!

I included a link in sources to a great pregnancy symptom site (it has all of the symptoms you mentioned).

  3. I am having similar symptoms and i was on depo before, and i am also ttc, i am also 3 months late with all negative test. But really i think everybody has different symptoms, just depends if you really want to find out get blood work done they are fast and they give more accurate answers then the pee test!
