I am having a pool party and i want to stick to a rainforest theme but i dont know how!?

i am having a pool party and i want to stick to a rainforest theme. i checked every site i know on the web and i cant find a single one that sells party supplies of rainforest theme. do you have any suggestions?

mmm can you adapt a Jungle theme using rain-forests trees and animals?

If you can't find anything you like, try doing bright colors - greens, reds, etc.

I looked too...best I could find were the "dart frogs" at birthday express. The "zoology" one is good too, except for the zebras...

My suggestion would be not to spend alot of $,but do it yourself!Put plants out all around(borrow some from friends,neighbors!)You can always find alot of things at your local Goodwill/Salvation Army store,like stuffed animals you'd associate with the rain forest.Also,if you can find coconuts at your local market,clean them out and use to hold cashews,brazil nuts,snacks in general!Try buying one of the relaxation tapes they sell at Wal-mart that has running water/forest sounds,and have that playing in the background!IMAGINATION doesn't cost you a fortune!!

if you don't want to pay for real trees, they sell blow up palm trees at most party stores.

Check out some of the "luau" theme stuff, and see if it can adapt. I agree with the coconut ideas. Even the pirate stuff for little kids, you may find a parrot or some machete looking swords.

Think brazil and maybe do something to make the pool look like a river, like the amazon. Maybe put some dirt around it or canoes.

Check Party City out, and look a little outside of the box with it.. Anything will be really cool!

If you have alot of time to plan, you could plant some vines against a fence, or if not, buy the stuff from floral department and hang it off the pool ladder, around the pool if it's above ground, from the trees.. put that stuff everywhere and throw in a couple of ropes.

Think about what a rain forest is and hope it rains and the trees have all bloomed in your back yard. Get some parrots, monkeys and lots of bugs, maybe a lemur or two and how about a three toed sloth? Hang some rope to look like vines.

Have recording of animal sounds to drive the neighbors crazy.
