I am having a problem erasing a website in the website history. It will not delete. How do I get rid of it?

  1. click 'start'....click 'run'....type 'cleanmgr'... click 'yes', or 'go' or what ever comes up on your screen....

    some other options will apear as well...if this one dosent do the trick...choose one of the others.

    J/K Usually you can go to history, right click on the site, then click delete.

    try the free version,if it's just the web history you want to get rid of should work. :-)

  4. tools > internet options > Delete history, delete files, clear history> Tab to Advance, check Empty Tempory Internet Files

  5. For Internet Explorer:Click on Tools. Then Internet Options. Click on Content and then Auto Complete. Then click on Clear Forms. This will erase your search history. If you don't want things showing up again in your search history then deselect the Auto Complete options at the top. Be sure to select apply or ok at the bottom.
