I am having a problem with cordless phone?

My cordless phone at home says that the extension is use. However it is not. When you call my house it is busy. I unplugged the power supply and the problem still exists. Please help.

Two reasons, the line or your phone has a problem. Unplug your phone from the wall jack then call your home using your mobile phone. If you can get a busy tone with your home phone unplugged, the line has a problem. If you will get a ring tone, bring your cordless phone to a service center.
