I am having a typical mexican weeding, but I don't know how many "padrinos" I am suppose to have and for what?

You can have as many as you want, when we had a wedding for my sister in law she had a padrino for everything right down to the picture album and silverware. If you have people you can count on have them be a padrino of something. The more help you have the less you come out of pocket. Make sure you have a special anouncement made up that shows what each padrino provided and has a special thank you on it.

Well, you only need one set of Padrinos del Rosario. They are supposed to buy you the Rosario and put it around you and your new husband during the mass.

You can ask your closest friends if they like to help you buy the cake, or your sisters or brother. I bought the cake for my sister, and another sister bought the cake for me. There is no need to make them padrinos just because they are buying you a big thing for the wedding.

The church only asks for five padrinos:

Velacion (Church godparents),

Lazo (Large rosary or rope that goes over the bride and groom),

Arraz (Coins),

Anillos (Rings),

Biblia y Rosario (Bible and Rosary).

After those padrinos (sponsors), you can have as many as you want.

Music, food, limo, invitations,reception hall and photography.

Why don't you just use Round Up?

I've found that it works well on all types of weeds!

well there are several factors that you have to take into consideration. How much money are you and your future hubby are willing to spend. But in a typical mex wedding you get padrinos because you cannot afford it. But here is what they get padrinos : 1. Church 2. Fresh flowers for offering to virgen de guadalupe 3. Arras 4.
