I am having an all white sweet sixteen..what should i do for food,do i need a DJ,ideas anyone?! HELP!?

So for my sweet sixteen I am having an all white party and everyone will be in white except for me...the only problem is that i dont know what kind of food i should have or if I should get a DJ! and I need ideas for stuff to do like games and what not. It will be mostly girls there and some who will bring their boyfriends...I am on a very very tight budget! What kinda cake do u think would be appropriate to? I am pretty sure that i am going to have the party at a bed and breakfast...the b&b has a big beautiful backyard just big enough...they have weddings there so i figured it would be nice for a sweet sixteen its kinda just barely out in the country like on the outskirts of town but its so pretty!! i need decoration ideas to! like table centerpieces and other stuff! my birthday is at the end of august but im having it at the beginning so there wont be any problems with school stuff! and anyone have any ideas for party favors? ur help will be appreciated! have only 2 months to plan!

primarily white would be better than all white i feel. but it is your birthday and you are only sixteen once! OK DJ maybe i would try for a struggling band from your school! make sure they can hold a note! (play well) as a backup make a party mix CD. you have cool music I'm sure and if you don't find some one who does! (the average radio station only has about four hours of top hits and two hours of tolerable hits) hit the music top 100 list and edit it to make it your own. a twin sheet cake with a choice of decoration will suffice, but poke a round the bakery a little see if you can find something you set fire to! do something out to left field because you are only sixteen once! center pieces... if you get the band see if they got demos to copy and make those your center pieces however you can just simply label some blanks and use them. label them something like your name's sweet sixteen dd/month/yr and a design with the listing of party features like the band name, the activity's, the other things, live at the name of the b&b! (or somthing to that effect!) if you can go there, set up a web site for a couple months to chat, share photos, run your music play list, ect. (my space home girl! my space!) run with it! you are only sixteen once

I perform a large number of sweet 16 parties every year.

Outside is a bad idea. Find a nice hall with very cold AC. Hire yourself a good DJ with a good sound and lighting system. A good DJ will help you plan your event and make it fun and special.

The most important thing at any event is the entertainment. It is what everyone remembers.

A good tip is to have the party on a Friday not a Saturday DJ's will give you a better rate on a Friday.
