I am having bad chest pains. should i go to the hospital?

It depends, are you also having radiating pain in your arm or neck? If it is bad pain, I think you should get checked out. You wouldn't want to blow off something major.

If I were having bad chest pain I would  go to the hospital as it could be serious. But you have to use your own judgment, is the pain really severe enough to warrant a trip to the emergency room.... Cold beer isn't going to alleviate your chest pain.
